Bum Marketing

You're not going to believe this!

Yesterday I bought a really good product for 0.60 cents. I know.
It sounds ridiculous and impossible. But it really happened. And it
is a good product (2 products, actually) - related to "Bum Marketing".

Have you ever seen George Pluss' Dime S.ales?
They are a huge success because of the value he puts in.
I mean - how can you go wrong with only $0.60 'investment'...

If you are using Travis Sago's Bum Marketing system and want to
take it to another level please check this product out. It's so cheap you
would think that it's a dinky product. BUT IT'S NOT. It's really good.
Here it is again:
George Pluss' Dime Sale

Well, enough here, I think by now you should be zipping over there
to learn the details.

Don't miss out on this low, low priced offer (I still can't
believe I paid so little for it!!!

The funny thing with these super cheapo deals is that sometimes they
are so cheap that people PERCEIVE them as lousy products. Once, I got
an email about a product and the guy said I should decide how much to
pay. Well, that didn't work for me. I decided not to buy it!!! Can you
believe that? I could've gotten it for 5 cents! But I didn't feel right
about it and I didn't want to pay alot so I just skipped it.

Don't make that mistake today. Add this valuable tool to your arsenal!

On Demand Profits

Wow! I bought a new $7 report yesterday and it's a doozy.

It's called On Demand Profits by Alok Jain.

It's a 24 page report on "How to Create Your own ATM Machine". I must warn you that there is nothing new and earth shattering in this report. But it's still GREAT. Because it discusses a system that we all know about but probably do not use effectively.

Alok says that you don't need a website or any specific skills to succeed at this system. He says that he made $2,000 in 10 days using this system and shows his Paypal records for proof. I believe him even without the proof, because I know that if this method is applied consistently - the money will come.

I'm not going to give away the system but I will hint that it involves using $7 reports. I love that because I hate spending big money on systems that I may or may not succeed with (or even bother using).

Do yourself a favor. Shell out the $7 and get On Demand Profits. You can always make the money back by selling just one copy of it (and that ain't hard!!) because you receive 100% commission for every copy sold. But don't worry. You won't regret buying this report!!! It's one of the highest converting $7 reports available.

Make Moolah Online

Today I wanted to tell you about a membership site I joined
recently. This site has an absolutely ridiculous name, but that
doesn't detract from the usefulness of the site!

It's called (ahem) Make Moolah Online.

One thing that often stops many people from succeeding online is a
lack of training and one-on-one help from people who are more
advanced.

This site offers a unique opportunity to go through training for
every major aspect of internet marketing - from SEO to Adwords and
from Adsense to List Building.

Not only that, but you can get one-on-one help whenever you need it
from experts in the field you are needing help with.

It's also not one of those high priced memberships. It's not free (I wouldn't expect it to be )
but it's really quite reasonable.

I urge you to check this out - it may be just what you need.

Here is what the owner of the site, Stewart says about himself in an excerpt from his "about me" on the site:

"I spent some time mastering adwords, affiliate marketing and list building and after 6 months I was earning more than friends and family who were in high paying corporate jobs! I now do pretty much everything - from adsense to SEO!

And I am now where I am now! Trying to help others make money online so they can realise the dreams and goals they have set for themselves. Make Moolah Online was an idea I had a while back and it is now in fruition with many members now taking advantage of the huge collection of training materials and resources that MMO offers."

I urge you to at least have a peek at Make Moolah Online (duuuuuumb name)

Let me know what you think, ok?

$7 Reports

A short while ago Jon Leger started the phenomenon of selling reports for $7. His first report was about how to get traffic from YouTube.

Jon's next report was also a $7 report. This one discussed the huge success of the first report and described how he achieved his success with it and also explained how he used PayPal to accept payments. He also incorporated some special scripts he'd created. Once people bought a $7 report from him they could turn around and sell it to their list, thereby making back their money and then some.

Sales really jumped because of the resell system built into the report. This system made it really simple for anyone who had bought the report to re-sell it and make money. Jon quickly spotted that his system would work for any report and not just his own so he set up a special website called 7 dollar solutions to act as a central store for anyone with a good quality report to sell.

In a matter of weeks, over 400 different reports were written by experienced online marketers and many of these sold well because they too came with Resale Rights. This meant that anyone who bought a report could then go on and re-sell it to recover their costs. If they sold more than one version, they were in profit!!

But having Resale Rights and know exactly what to do with them are two entirely different things. Experienced internet marketers were able to exploit these reports very fast and started to earn money from their Resale Rights literally in a matter of minutes but other people who were less familiar with online marketing often got stuck.

One marketer, William Charlwood, spotted this problem and wrote a detailed report of his own that specifically shows you how to sell reports using Jon Leger’s system. Called $7 Dollar Selling it gives anyone the knowledge they need to get started.

One of the intriguing facts about William’s report is that it shows you a total of 23 different ways you can sell reports including no less than 12 techniques you can use that don’t even require a website. It’s highly readable too and is a good and low-cost introduction to the fascinating world of internet marketing. So if you want to know how internet marketers make their living and you want to break into the online marketplace, it’s well worth a read.

Autoresponders, The Importance of

Everyone is always talking about how the money is in the list.

Well, I've come to understand that it really is crucial to have a list. When I saw that in the past few months thousands of people had visited my site I realized what a waste it was that I didn't have an opt in box for people to join my mailing list. Had I had the opt in box all along I might have built a really nice sized list.

The beauty of it all is that it really is so simple to start buiding your list. What you need is :

1. a free report to offer to your subscribers
or
a little course that you can promise to send them in installments
2. an autoresponder.

A free report is easy enough to either write up or buy.
There are free autoresponders on the market, but my understanding is that they are not as reliable as the paid ones, and some of them even display adds in your mails. That doesn't look very professional.

The two autoresponders with the best reputations are Aweber and Getresponse.
I use Aweber and I'm very happy.

An autoresponder enables you to load up as many messages as you like into it and these messages get sent out whatever interval you decide. So, for example, you can set up 5 messages that you want to have sent out once a week for a year. This way, you can do the work in one or two days and then the whole business works on autopilot!

You can embed affiliate links in your autoresponder messages and your subscribers can buy through your affiliate links right from the message. These messages are sometimes called "ezines" or "newsletters". Today I hear about an internet marketer who does not own her own site. All she has is a Blogger blog and a subscription to Aweber. She has 52 messages in Aweber for each list she owns. This woman made about $90,000 last year WITHOUT HER OWN SITE. Pretty amazing.

Remember that it's crucial to have an autoresponder. I waited too long till I subscribed. Don't you make the same mistake!!! There's no time like the present. Mosey on over to Aweber and sign up NOW!!

Blogging for Money $$$$$$$

Let's talk about blogging.

Many people want to get started on their Internet Marketing business but aren't sure how to go about it. There is so much information out there and it's hard to know whom to trust and which way to go. Most people haven't a clue how to go about starting a website and everyone seems to think that it's necessary to have a website in order to build a business on the internet.

Well, I'm here to tell you that you don't have to have a website or a product in order to make it online. Eventually you will want to have your own site but to start off with you CAN manage without one.

My recommendation is to start a blog in Blogger (which is owned by Google). This could take you about 10 minutes (15, tops). Choose a topic that you know something about and just start to blog. Post to your blog every day.

Then, what you'll want to do is find some products that are connected to the topic that you are blogging on and promote these products from within your blog. You could promote from within product reviews that you will write in your blog, or from the "links" area in the right or left bar of your blog. You will find these products at sites like Clickbank, Paydotcom, Commission Junction (www.cj.com), Linkshare and 0ther similar sites. These sites will provide you with a url to promote (a website address). You put this url in you blog posts and when someone clicks on it they will be taken to the vendor's sales page. If they buy the product you will be credited with commission. If you put these affiliate links within your posts it increases the chances that someone will click on them.

Another way to monetize your blog is by adding Adsense ads. I, personally, removed the ads from my blog because I felt that it was taking the focus away from the more lucrative links on the blog and it wasn't worth my while. Kind of like stepping over the dollars to get the pennies, if you know what I mean.

Here are some good, free resources for you to learn about blogging:

Geoff Shaw's Super Blogging site

Michael Green's Blogging for Cash

http://www.squidoo.com/blogstarter/

Darren Rowse's blog problogger.net

There is no excuse NOT to start a blog. It's SOOOOOOO easy. Just Do It.

Derrick Van Dyke's Affiliate Cash Secrets

I like to share with you when I find something worthwhile sharing.
Well, I found yet another good site.
This site is a free membership site called Affiliate Cash Secrets.
It's a site geared toward teaching you how to do affiliate marketing.
Derrick teaches many aspects of affiliate marketing and traffic generation.
He also provides a good program to help you keep track of all your affiliate
links and passwords.
That's the free part.
If you upgrade to Gold Membership (I paid $9.97) you get the really good part of the program
and that is the part where Derrick has set up a complete system for you and all you
have to do is cut and paste messages into your autoresponder (more or less).

You DO need to have an autoresponder but that's about it. You don't even need your own site to promote the affiliate programs.

Derrick has chosen a bunch of programs like Ewen Chia's Secret Affiliate Weapon, Dominating Clickbank, Day Job Killer, Filsaime's Butterfly Manuscript, Brad Callen's SEO Elite and provides you with the squeeze page, a free report to distribute and pre-written autoresponder messages to send your leads after they sign up for the free report. He does all the work for you and you just have to promote the affiliate links he gives for the different products. It's ingenious and people are making very nice money doing it.
I've only just started using it so I can't report major success yet but I can definitely see where it's going to take me.

I highly recommend this membership. Even if you just take the free membership there is very worthwhile information there. And, to tell you the truth, the upgrade is not expensive (at this point in time) so I found it worthwhile (and I don't usually shell out for memberships).

By the way, if you are interested you can watch a video prepared by Todd Gross about how the site works. I recommend that too...

That's it for today. I hope you found this as useful as I did :-)

Mike Filsaime's New Resource Report

In the beginning there was the marketer. There are certain truths you come to understand the more time you spend making money online or trying to.

Witness the evolution of marketing online. Whether you are new to the net game or an experienced pro, there is one thing you will have in common if you are moving towards entrepreneurial success.

As you read this you will realize what you have in common with all the other million dollar earners online, and what you are missing that can take you from where you are to where you want to be.

So let's get started shall we?

I will begin with a bullet point list and short explanation of the marketing necessities you want to have:

For starters, most established markets will already be using this by default:

- A Domain: something specific to what you want to promote like (ex.www.mysite.com)

- Hosting: a place to put your site, if you're planning on making money - find a paid solution so you look like a credible business and you cut back on high traffic crashes.

- A website: your image your presence and your marketing message, don't get pulled into the trap I see everywhere of trying to put too many choices on your website. Maximize on the effectiveness by only giving one purpose to a page. For example if you want to build a list - focus all your efforts and copy on that singular focus, if you want your site to sell a product, then only put that focus on your site. You'll also need a good editing program, and an FTP (file transfer protocol) software to get this up and moving.

- A merchant account: If you have something to sell, people will need a way to pay you. There are a ton of great providers out there, but there are a specific few that give your visitors the security to pull out a credit card with assurance.

- An Autoresponder: This is a real necessity if you want a business and not just a hobby. When you have a family to support this is a real no brainer. This is your email follow up service. You get a name added to your list and this is where they go. You will use this to stay in touch and build relationships with your customers and soon-to-be customers.

- A helpdesk: in the beginning when your business and sales are small you can handle all the little questions and emails yourself. One of the things that will keep a small business is small is thinking "I can do that myself". if you want to truly grow; you need to share the workload (petty tasks) and focus on what you truly want to do creatively for your business.

- Membership Site software: once you're addicted to the internet marketing lifestyle, you will realize this oh-so-simple fact, it's great to make a sale, but it's even better to make a sale once and get paid for it every month. Continuity is king.

- Teleconferencing software: If you want an easy way to create and crank out high ticket products, audios and a transcript is an easy to make, high-value product.

Of course everything we've touched on so far only scratches the surface, but these are the necessities that not only get you started but will make you above average. Keep your eyes peeled for more articles that will take you from beginner to winner.

We'll cover resources that will help you stay organized and expand your business to make you truly prosperous such as:

-PDF creators and converters
- Mind mapping software
- Site tools to make your business a set and forget it money magnet
- Internet video and audio creating software
- And the how-to's of outsourcing

Keep learning, and most important: be persistent - it will be a quality you share with the biggest money makers online today.

Norton, FTP, and Internet Angels

Well, I haven't posted in almost a week. You know why? I haven't had anything that I felt passionate enough to post about.

Well, now I have something!!!

I got hosting recently and I haven't been able to ftp.

Every time I tried to FTP it failed and said it couldn't connect to the host. Well, I posted about it on the Warrior Forum and David Castle pointed me to his forum TIP. I went on over there, signed up and posted about my problem.

A guy named Darren Lovelock ("Munky") took my case on and spent the entire afternoon, on and off, pm'ing me in the forum. Eventually, I Skyped him (but he has no phone, so we typed to each other) and he must have been online with me for almost 2 hours straight. Bottom line - he solved my problem!!!!! He told me to de-install my Norton Anti Virus and install AVG's free anti virus and anti spyware which I downloaded from the net. I hit a snag when the free anti virus would not install and kept failing. This is where he spent an unbelievable amount of time talking me through the problem. I eventually phoned him on his mobile and we were able to finish finding and deleting the file on my system that was preventing installation. The installation succeeded and my computer is now SAFE. The important thing is that the offending Norton is gone and I can now FTP to my heart's delight.

The point here is not what a brilliant guy Darren is. I'm sure alot of other people could have figured out the problem (some people on the Warrior Forum suggested Norton as the problem) but he spent the time with me and held my hand through the solution of the problem. That is impressive and Darren/Munky is MY Internet angel for today.

I heartily recommend that you all go and check out the TIP SEO forum. TIP stands for The In Place, by the way. Also, I urge anyone that needs help building a website to check out Darren's website where he offers everything that has to do with website building. The address is www.munkyonline.co.uk.

There isn't a nicer guy on the internet!!!!

There is another terrific guy, though, that I must mention since I'm discussing internet angels. His name is Craig Desorcy and he lives in Japan and runs a great site called www.wehelpnewbies.com. Craig is a born "helper". He enjoys helping newcomers to Internet Marketing to learn their way around. When I need help and post about it on his forum sometimes he creates a Camtasia video, showing me what to do!! He even did a really good critique of my blog using Camtasia. Now, how's that for personal attention? Craig has alot of knowledge and is another one of those internet angels whom it is worth getting to know.

God and Internet Marketing

In Whom Do You Trust?

When do you become spiritual? At the end of your time when you're standing in front of the pearly gates. The door to hell is wide open. The note tacked onto the pearly path says, "You didn't care about us while you lived. Why should we care about you, now that you're dead?

If there's one great trait amongst all great people, it has been their faith. From King Solomon, to Benjamin Franklin, Winston Churchill, Napoleon Hill, to modern icons like Tony Robbins and Zig Ziglar. They all believe in a higher power. They all have faith.

When you believe in God, it's easy to give up control. You ask everything according to his will. You no longer have to trust in your own strength, you can trust in his.

If you trust in your own strength, you have every reason to be anxious, apprehensive and fearful. But with the power of God that is in you, not of you, there's nothing that you cannot do.

Becoming spiritual takes time, study and practice. But when you invite the great divine powers to lead you, life becomes a lot easier.

What does this have to do with marketing? Everything. Because everything you do, becomes infused with the energy behind it. It's the message you are delivering to your prospects. If it's a positive mental attitude, it's a blessing, it's contagious and it leads to success.

Internet Marketing Secret: Find your God and find your path. For he will lead you along the path of least resistance, in your life, in your career, and with your family... and you'll know it, when you feel at peace. Ask for that peace and let him lead you there.

Holly Mann - Not a Scam!!

In a previous post I wrote a review of Holly Mann's book Honest Riches and I gave it a thumbs up. Today, Holly emailed me an updated version of her book- Honest Riches 2007 - and I feel compelled to write about it here.

Holly has done a wonderful job of revamping her book. It is now 95 pages long and is just loaded with valuable content. The spacing is also pretty tight in the book and there is alot of content on each page (sometimes you get ebooks where the authors space them out to make them seem longer). I first purchased Holly's book about 6 months ago and her book is what gave me my start on the web. At the time I felt that it was a really worthwhile acquisition. Well, now the book is even better!

Now the book starts off with a chapter on how to start a business on the internet, where she talks about self employment and tax issues. This is important information for anyone starting their own business.

She's got a full chapter all about affiliate marketing - a really nice, robust chapter which outlines the differences between Affiliate Networks vs. Independent Affiliate Programs. She also discusses programs for people outside the U.S. and how to research affiliate programs.

Next is a chapter on how to research: brainstorming ideas, seasonal opportunities, mass media and niche finding tools.

How to make money without a website gets its own fat chapter which includes forum marketing, writing product reviews and lots more.

Wesite design, content management systems (with lots of attention to Joomla), blog websites, turnkey websites, a Free Website Offer and tons of other information are in the next chapter.

A chapter is devoted to Open Source Ideas ( I never read about this anywhere else!). She talks about how she used to purchase all kinds of specialty software until she discovered places on the web to get it all for free!

Adsense has a chapter; SEO gets alot of attention from Holly in this book as does Pay Per Click advertising. There's a chapter on list building, creating your own e-book and a bonus section with Ebay advertising snippets and dropshipping tips.

Her style of writing is such that you feel that you are sitting across the table from a good friend who is "spilling their guts" about how to go about making a living on the internet. You can tell that Holly has a wealth of experience doing internet marketing (and by the way, I think that most of what she does is in niche marketing and not internet marketing). She knows lots of tips and techniques and happily shares them with her readers. I do feel that there is a bit missing of the "how" to do certain things for beginners. But I feel that it's not so terrible, because she's very clear on the "what" to do.

In general, I must add that every time I have ever sent Holly an email I have received a courteous and prompt response from her. I can honestly say that I bought this book because reading her sales page inspired trust in me. Now that I am her customer I can attest to the fact that I am a very, very happy customer and recommend her book, from the bottom of my heart, to any newbie and more advanced internet marketer.

The price has gone up since the last version but she is giving so much more now that I sincerely feel that it's worth the price. Maybe this review is too positive. I dunno. All I know is that I can't believe the value she gives for the price she charges. Holly Mann is one of the "good guys"!!!

p.s. I welcome comments from anyone who read Holly's book. Did you find it as helpful as I did?

101 Ways to Drive Traffic

Doug from www.imutopia.com posted this article on the Warrior Forum today. It's just loaded with good information about driving traffic to your site.
Here it is:

1.Write and submit articles :). It is a classic, but it works. This will be indefinite traffic stuck in the search engines for you. Write quality unique articles, not articles that are rehashed or provide no insight to readers, which is a huge problem these days.
2.Write and submit press releases, think prweb after you do one.
3.Write and ping blog entries. Always make sure to link back to your website with your blog posts. Try making multiple blogs and have them all link back to one main site.
4.Make sure your website is listed in DMOZ: http://dmoz.org/.
5.Advertise your website in the appropriate categories at Craigslist. Try posting your ads in the most populated cities in the world.
6.If a niche related forum that you frequently visit allows signatures, then make sure to add your website url in there.
7.Make sure to view related products on Amazon.com. You can try and take some customers from your competitors here by providing your own url if the product is similar.
8.Review websites in your niche on Alexa to try to take some of their traffic by including a reference back to your site.
9.Review some related products on epinion.
10.If you purchase a product that you actually like, then feel free to give an individual respect when respect is due and leave a testimonial. You should be able to get some traffic from that website if your testimonial is left with a url.
11.Whenever you send an email to someone, always add your website url as a signature.
12.Keep updating content on your websites/blogs try at least once per week.
13.Tag blog posts at social bookmarking sites, especially at http://del.icio.us/.
14.Add photos to your blog with appropriate keywords.
15.Tag blog photos at Flickr.
16.Politely ask your readers to subscribe to your rss feeds.
17.Try coining your own term. Might want to trademark it if you smell that it will become popular.
18.Encourage readers to comment on your blogs.
19.Include translation for your websites/blogs, especially in Chinese.
20.Do not be boring, write about something that a wide select of people would want to know about.
21.Make sure to edit your writing (unlike what im doing :D).
22.Comment on other related blogs.
23.Make a custom 404-error page for your website. You can provide a link back to your main website or even try to monetize it by offering a related affiliate program within your niche.
24.Sponsor a charity, most charities will link back to your website, and you are also doing a good deed :).
25.Sell an item on eBay as a charity auction. Most charities will link back to both your auction and your main website.
26.Start a publicity campaign, do something that individuals in your niche will take note of.
27.Brand your website with a logo and a slogan/catch phrase. Think IBM.
28.Hold a crazy contest that people in your niche will talk about. This will equal more links and traffic to your website.
29.Build a tool that individuals in your niche will love and enjoy. Then give it away for free. If the tool is helpful, then you will get quality one-way links to your website.
30.Contact small newsletters sources offline and submit articles to them.
31.Become friends with editors of an offline publication.
32.Give speeches offline. Start small and local. Also, do not forget to participate in toastmasters meetings in your area.
33.Have a GREAT product. All of the marketing/advertising in the world will do you NO good if your product is sub par.
34.Make something innovative. If you are selling information, what makes your content something you cannot get from the local bookstore, Barnes and noble or even eBay for that matter?
35.Is your product groundbreaking? Will you leave individuals with no choice but to talk about your product or service?
36.Are you selling something that wide groups of people want to know about but there is limited/scarce knowledge?
37.Write good content, if your writing is good then people will share it with their friends. In addition, webmasters will use it as content on their website with a reference back to your article, or at least they should.
38.Spark emotions. If you get people emotional about something then they will most likely talk about it.
39.Get a custom t-shirt made with your website url on it, and wear it often.
40.Build a list of subscribers. Your list is like a golden asset to you if utilized correctly.
41.Write tip articles, such as Ten easy tips to blank-blank-blank.
42.Buy traffic from the search engines by utilizing one of their PPC campaigns.
43.Open up a myspace account and find targeted friends so that you can promote your services to them. Do not spam people, myspace is cracking down on spammers and are starting to sue people.
44.Solicit a link from your local chamber of commerce.
45.Have an easy to remember domain name. If your domain name is too long or not memorable then people may forget your site.
46.Add a bookmark option to your website/blogs.
47.Purchase the misspelled versions of your domain name and have it redirect to your main one.
48.Use keywords in your image alt tags. For example, keywords go head
49.Make sure to include appropriate keywords in your title tag, search engines show more prominence or importance to keywords here.
50.Place appropriate keywords in your anchor text when linking.
51.If you have a profile anywhere online, always include appropriate keywords and link back to your website.
52.Try to get links from websites within your niche with a high pr (pagerank). Some The more one-way links (inbound links/backlinks) you have to your website, the higher your pr will become. Pagerank is important because websites with higher prs tend to have a higher search results in Google. It is a no brainier that if you can get number one for a competitive keyword then you will have enough traffic that you can handle oh by the way its all free targeted traffic to remind you.
53.Outsource grunt work. Time is in essence money. you can hire individuals at freelance services to send emails, request JV proposals, or to answer questions from prospective or current customers.
54.Offer something for FREE. Abracadabra is not the magic word, FREE is. It is like a worm on a pole for a fish in the water. its bait! Offer a free mini course or free ebook to help collect more subscribers. You can always offer a backend to monetize on this opportunity, such as an affiliate product for example.
55.After someone orders from you offer a one-time offer that compliments your product. For example, if I offered a traffic ebook, then after the individual purchase it would make sense for me to offer a traffic conversion bonus for a limited time only.
56.Become the virus within your niche. Make yourself the bug and have people talking about your product. When people talk about your product then you can induce the viral effect. However, you must give people a reason to talk about you, and being like everyone else is not one.
57.Do your research and find expensive niches to tap into. A good way to do this is to find how expensive someone is paying for a keyword on a PPC search engine. If you can sell items that are more expensive more often then it is a quicker way to get rich :D.
58.Become an active respected member of niche related forums. You can do this by offering quality posts. Hint Hint, it is not the number of posts you make, it is the quality. Remember, quality or quantity. Many useless or negative posts will have people looking at you funny.
59.Test, test, test. Your flushing money down the toilet if your not testing to see what campaigns are bringing you in the most money compared to which ones are costing you money. When you test, you can eliminate the campaigns that are costing you dollars so that you can properly maximize your marketing efforts. Without proper testing, you are pretty much lost and cant improve. You can only guess to what has or what is working. With proper testing, you do not guess, you know.
60.Stay up to date on what is going on in the world, you can monetize off hot topic trends.
61.Network, when you know more people you can find people that can help you get what you need.
62.Offer an affiliate program for your product or service. Make sure to let your satisfied customers know that you have one, if they like your product then they will be even more delighted to know that they will get money for referring you.
63.Write and give away a free ebook or report. It does not have to be long as long as its quality information neatly formatted and put together. You can also make a brandable ebook or report and allow affiliates the opportunity to brand their affiliate links in there to pass on to the next individual. You can then send this ebook to your subscribers or submit it to ebook directories.
64.Add viral components to your blog such as social bookmarking options, and a refer a friend option.
65.Be funny, people like something that will make them laugh and they will spread it for you if it is a genius idea.
66.Syndicate your content by using an RSS feeds on your website.
67.Answer peoples questions on Yahoo! answers with a link to your website in the sources area.
68.Put a link in the about me section of your eBay profile.
69.Make and upload a viral video to you tube. Use appropriate keywords in the video description for your target audience.
70.Record an informative podcast and submit them to poplar podcast directories.
71.Provide helpful answers for Google adsense on their help forum with a link back to your website. Go here to check it out: http://groups.google.com/group/adsense-help
72.Get people to comment and add content to your site. When they do this, they will provide you unique content, no need to pay for ghostwritten articles.
73.If you cannot get JVs, then try to bribe webmasters for sponsored advertising space on their newsletters.
74.Include a media section on your website so that you will give the media an easy way to stay up to date on what your company is doing.
75.Try to teach a class at your local community college or university. The more exposure you get in the public, the more credibility you will receive.
76.Make a screensaver and make it easy for individuals in your niche to download it. Have eye candy graphics combined with your company logo to brand yourself.
77.Write something controversial and spread it freely to your target market. It can be something as idiotic as the Da Vinci code, but as long people talk about it, its a successful campaign. A few hints, something controversial is something that goes against established beliefs in your market.
78.Write and publish a book. Having your own book is a quick way to gain credibility.
79.Take a guru in your niche out to lunch, and pay for it.
80.Start an organization or club about something. This can be done online through Yahoo! or Google groups.
81.Volunteer. Donate your time to a good clauseyou can always network with people and form connections at the same time.
82.Get involved in your community and try to run some type of outreach program.
83.Offer good customer service, you may be surprised on how many referrals you get just be having a reliable one.
84.Consider adding a direct mail marketing campaign to your marketing arsenal.
85.Put an ad in your local yellow pages to get some local customers. Yellow pages tend to be more successful then newspaper ads because individuals are looking for a particular service when they are browsing through the yellow pages as opposed to newspapers.
86.Post bulletins in your local supermarket. However, since not everyone may carry a pen or pencil, place your contact information and url on strips on the bottom so that individuals can rip it off and take it with them.
87.Host your own commercial so you can put as seen on TV on your products.
88.Conduct surveys and publish them. These make you appear as an expert in your field of study.
89.Break a record or shoot to be in the Guinness world records for something.
90.Make a sitemap for your website.
91.Use a favicon for your site.
92.Make your visitors more involved in your website. You can help accomplish this by adding CGI scripts to your site.
93.Make sure you have no broken links on your site, and make sure that your website shows clearly in all browsers.
94.Find domain names that get traffic, purchase them, and have them redirect to your website.
95.Spell correctly whenever using keywords in writing.
96.Look at sites related to your niche to try to figure out how they get their traffic.
97.Properly optimize your website for the right keywords.
98.Try to avoid java scripts on your website as much as possible.
99.Do not use frames on your website.
100. If your website becomes popular and starts getting lots of traffic, try switching to a dedicated server. The longer you site is down equals the more lost visitors you will have.
101. Write a quality 101 article about a steamy topic that people want to know more about in your niche ;).

The Complete Internet Money Making Guide

The following is a great article I came across by internet marketer Steven Wagenheim. Mr. Wagenheim is the author of the Honest Income Program, a program which takes the newbie by the hand and guides him/her through 3 different money making systems on the internet.
The reason I am publishing his article on my blog is that it's a GREAT ARTICLE for newbies to help get your bearings on the internet. It will help you separate the wheat from the chaff. (The article is courtesy of www.ezinearticles.com).

The COMPLETE Internet Money Making Guide
By Steven Wagenheim

There are more ways to make money on the Internet than Carter has liver pills. Some methods will make you more money than others, but obviously will take more work. What follows is an objective look at the very many ways to make money online without using the "this is good or bad" approach. Everyone is different. One person's perfect Internet marketing or money making business is another person's nightmare. But the results of each are going to fall within certain parameters, and nothing you do is going to change those parameters much. In other words, you're not going to make a six figure income out of something that on average only has a potential of earning you a few hundred dollars a month at best. That doesn't mean that the 6 figure potential of a certain business will make you anything at all.

So let's start off with that much.

Unless you are working a JOB where you get either a salary, hourly rate pay or pay per assignment, you have NO guarantee of making even one DIME on the Internet. Any site that promises you an income UNLESS it is for doing a job, is lying to you. There are NO guarantees as far as making money online.

So what are the various ways to make money on the Internet? What you will find listed below are in no special order. They are just in the order of how they popped into my head as there is a lot out there.

1. Paid To Read Emails or Other Paid To Read Programs - Let's get these out of the way. This is where a company pays you a certain amount per email or ad read. Every company has different pay rates. Some are pennies per email read. Others are hundreds of dollars per email read. As I said, I am not going to knock any program here but you need to use a little common sense when it comes to these. Who is going to pay you hundreds of dollars for reading an email? Read the fine print of the contract. You will see in most cases there is a catch. If you want the whole scoop in the Paid To Read thing, there are plenty of threads on the Internet. You will find that many of these programs either shut themselves down or were shut down because they didn't pay. However, if you find a program like this that is legit, your earning potential is about a couple hundred dollars a month, if you include recruiting into the mix, which you can do. You will never get rich off of Paid To Read programs.

2. Survey Sites - These are sites that send you surveys which you take. If you qualify for the survey you can earn as much as $25 to $50 for one survey. Most surveys though are for points and discounts. If you spent a whole day doing these it is conceivable that you can make a few hundred dollars a month doing these. You won't ever get rich from them. Also, never pay for a list of sites that give surveys. This info is available for free.

3. Randomizers - These are programs where you join, pay your fee, whatever it is and then every time somebody joins a random payment is made to one of its members. One thing you need to be careful of these. PayPal is cracking down on them because they violate their TOS. So if a randomizer uses PayPal as a payment source you may want to think twice about joining. You can lose your PayPal account. Unless you do an awful amount of promoting for these things and get your own members, you potential monthly income is about $20 a month. Randomizers are pretty much dropping like flies so you won't run into as many of these as you did a year or so ago.

4. Doublers - This is where you put in say, $20 on January 1 and in 90 days, or whatever the term is, you get $40 back. You've doubled your money. These are also not as common as years ago but they are still around. The problem with these sites is that they are also against TOS of PayPal and other payment processors. However, if you get into one of these early and put in a lot of money, you can make a bundle real fast. But you are taking a gamble because all of these eventually fold up because the structure can't support itself. Think about it. If you keep doubling your money every 90 days and never take it out you have this progression.

20, 40, 80, 160, 320, 640, 1280, 2560, 5120, 10,240, 20,480, 40,960, 81,920...etc...

Eventually after a few years they end up having to pay you millions of dollars. Unfortunately, none of these doublers have lasted that long. So be careful with these.

5. Paid Typing Companies - These actually fall into 2 types. The real paid typing companies where you have to actually have typing skills to get a job and the ones that are nothing more than typing ads on the Internet and getting paid if people buy things. You can actually make a lot of money doing this, if you use the standard Google Adwords as your advertising medium. Your average person, with a limited budget, only makes about 2 or 3 hundred dollars a month. You do have to pay for Google Ads. They're not free. The legit typing companies will pay a standard wage for the work you do, whatever the market will bare at the time. Never pay to get one of these jobs.

6. Selling Advertising - This is actually a very big thing on the Internet. This is where you work for a company that sells people advertising packages or programs that they claim will effectively promote your business. This is another one of those things where you have to use a little common sense. If these advertising methods are so good, why is everybody using them to promote the company itself and try to get people to buy the advertising package or the tools themselves? Why doesn't ANYBODY use these tools to promote their OWN business? I'm going to let you answer that question for yourself. Like I said, I'm not going to knock anything in this review. The earning potential with these can be quite great depending on how much the packages sell for. Some are very cheap, a few hundred dollars, and some are very expensive, in the thousands. If you're going to promote one of these, think about how easy or hard you think it's going to be for you to get somebody to spend $3,000 on an advertising program.

7. MLM - Stands for Multi Level Marketing. These are programs where you get people to sign up and hope that they do the same. Some of these programs can be 10 or more levels deep. You need to be careful with these. The ones that have no product or service and are simply pyramids are illegal and will eventually get shut down. What most of these companies do is include things like ebooks, auto responders, etc. so that they give the appearance of being legit. Some actually are. Most of the stuff given away by these are worthless. It's hard to know what has value and what doesn't unless you're a seasoned marketer. Earning potential with these programs can literally be millions of dollars a year. But 95% of all people who join these fail. That is a statistical fact. You can look it up. The 5% who have some success range in income from a few hundred dollars a month to $10,000 or more. Only about 1% make more than $10,000 per month. Plus, the expense of some of these programs can be quite large. MLM programs have been the cause of many a family ending up in bankruptcy. So please be cautious with these.

8. Freelance Writing - This falls kind of in the job category as you get paid for the work you do. The problem with this is that it's hard to find these jobs and they don't pay much. If you worked 8 hours a day doing this you'll probably make about $2500 a month. Most people do this in their spare time and maybe make a couple hundred dollars monthly. The trick is finding companies that offer this service or people who will pay you to write for them.

9. Internet Researcher - This is very similar to freelance writing and also very hard to find these jobs. The pay varies greatly depending on the job itself. If you can do this full time, you'll make a little bit more than a freelance writer since research requires a lot more work. You're looking at about $3500 a month for 8 hours a day. But this is a tough gig and not easy to find.

10. Mystery Shopping - Actually, this isn't really an Internet based job. You need to have a car and be able to travel to where they send you. Depending on where you live you can either get a ton of jobs or very few. Geography plays a big role in this. This is something that you can make about $1000 a month doing if you did it full time and got that much work, but most people make a couple hundred bucks a month at most. With the rising gas prices this isn't as attractive as it used to be.

11. HYIP - Stands for High Yield Investment Program. 99% of these are illegal and the feds are cracking down on them. The list of HYIPs that have fallen is a mile long, including the big fiasco with 12 Daily Pro. Yes, if you get in early, you can make an amazing amount of money with these if you put in a lot. Even if they do pay 12%, 12% on $20 isn't going to pay you much money. To earn big you must invest big. If you can afford the risk of losing all your money, which many people have done, then you may want to go in for a quick killing on one of these. The earning potential is unlimited.

12. Selling Other People's Products - This is called affiliate marketing and can actually be very lucrative if you put in the time to promote. Ad expenses can chew you up and if you pick products that nobody is interested in you can end up making very little. Clickbank is one of the biggest companies offering this service. It is best to do a lot of research on a product before you decide to try selling it. Because there are so many existing products out there to choose from, this process can take a long time. The earning potential here is unlimited if you have the resources. But again, just like with MLM, 95% of affiliate marketers don't make any money because they don't advertise properly. The other 5% earn anywhere from a few hundred dollars a month to $10,000 a month or more.

13. Creating Your Own Business - This is where you make your own ebook, or start your own service, or maybe even create a product and sell it. The potential with your own business is unlimited depending on what you're selling. When I say your own business, I don't mean to join one of these sites that say "We'll give you your own business." These are just cookie cutter sites that thousands of other people have. And there is nothing wrong with them. But you will be limited to what you can do with them as most have pretty fixed sales templates. Some are better than others. So do your homework on them if you don't want to build a product and website from scratch.

14. Everything Else - The above list is by no means exhaustive. There are a number of odd ways to make money on the Internet that don't quite fit into one of the above. But if you examine them closely, you will see that they have similarities to one or more of the above items. Take these on a case by case basis. If it seems like something unique, then ask a lot of questions about it before diving in. Make sure you understand every aspect about what you're getting into before giving your credit card number. Most Internet "opportunities" have money back guarantees. Some don't, as I have painfully found out. While we want to believe the best in everyone, there are crooks out there. There are people who simply want to take our money, and will do whatever they can to get it from us.

I hope the above helps. If you ever have a question about any particular business that doesn't quite fall into one of the above, feel free to send me an email with the link to the site. I'll be happy to check it out.

Larry Dotson's Secret Marketing Strategies

Hello, hello, hello. Yes, it's still me. I just changed my blog over from the old Blogger to the new one and have been busy adding all the stuff into the template that disappears in the move. It wasn't that painful and I hope I got it all in.
I also hope you like the new format!!

Today I want to tell you about another membership site with good information (yeah, I know that there are SO MANY of them).

It's Larry Dotson's Secret Marketing Strategies. Yeah, ok, so they're not that secret but I've had a look at the 189 page document and it does have some good strategies in there that every marketer should know about. When you go through it you can see how alot of marketers out there do use some of these strategies (like telling your prospects that you wrangled a good price out of the product owner special for them). Some of them sound a bit ridiculous, but they must work, because I've seen many, many marketers use them!! So, skedaddle (did I just say that?) on over and have a lok at Larry Dotson's Secret Marketing Strategies.

Joe Robson's Newbie Club

Oh gosh, I haven't posted in a while. Sorry about that. It's been, well, LIFE that's been keeping me from the computer. Nothing bad. Just Life (with a capital "L").
Today I want to point you to a good resource for newcomers to the world of internet marketing.

The Newbie Club.
Run by Mr. Joe Robson. A bit unique. The site's motto is "Hey I'm a Newbie, not a dummy, just show me HOW!". I like that.

This site has a mixture of information. Some is free and some you have to pay for. For example, I get a newsletter from them every week and one of the things in there is a tip on dealing with your pc. Useful stuff.

There are many courses and tutorials available, from the basics of the internet to dealing with photos, Windows, email etc. They've got a very extensive course on building your first website and there is a course about pc security. All in all, very valuable information.
I also like owner Joe Robson's style of writing. He's a master copywriter and he has a course on that too!! By the way, Joe Robson is the author of Ken Evoy's famous book "Make Your Words Sell", which is part of the SBI program. Check it out. The Newbie Club.
p.s. I forgot to mention that they have a nice, two tier affiliate program, so you can earn money by promoting their products.

40+ Ways to Make Money on the Internet

I found this cool blog that you may find useful called 40+ Ways to Make Money on the Internet.
It lists ways to make money on the internet
BUT
The owner says:
"What's NOT included: Taking Surveys, Get Paid to Surf the Internet, MLM, Programs with a ton of negative user experiences (based on researching forums, googling them, etc.), Contest Sites, "Buy my DVD, CD, Audiobook", etc.

What IS included: Things you can use to legitimately make money online - Everything from Getting Paid to review software to good ole' Adsense."

I found the site informative and refreshing.

"Give PPC the Finger"

I'm a little embarassed about the title and the picture on the site I'm going to tell you about, but there is a new free report out by Keith Baxter called "Give PPC the Finger". He's distributing it in a similar way to the "Death of..." reports. For each person you refer, you get $1 and for each person THAT person refers you get 75 cents. 50 Cents for third level referrals!!

This way, Keith builds up his mailing list and we get to make a few dollars. The first person to refer 1000 people gets a nice prize.

To tell you the truth, I haven't read the report yet, so I'm not going to tell you how brilliant and wonderful it is, but I don't see why I can't make some referrals in the meantime. Keith says that he's not going to be leaving it up indefinitely. A few weeks at most.
Check it out.

Private Label Rights Membership Site

Well as you guys no doubt know, to really succeed with our internet marketing careers, we need to have great digital products that convert all of our qualified leads into real, cash-paying customers. For many people, coming up with products will involve creating them on their own, or it may involve them commissioning other professionals to do the hard work for them.

Chances are though, like most smart internet marketers, you probably want to save a whole lot of time and money. After all, if you were to create your own e-book for instance, expect to spend tens of hours doing the research you need, and then writing the book itself – and that’s if you’re only semi-decent at writing. If you’re a good writer, it will still take you hours and hours and if you’re terrible, well, forget it, because your e-book won’t sell!

Now, you certainly won’t go wrong by hiring a good writer to create a really good e-book, but think about how much a good writer is going to cost you. Wouldn’t you rather spend that money on getting visitors to your site so you can make more money?

I’m pretty sure that you’re always looking for ways to save time and money on your internet marketing business. I’ll easily spend hours each week just reading up on the latest internet marketing happenings and news, in the endless search of improving the way I do business. In my latest search, I came across a really unique website called PLR Wholesaler, that’s well worth you checking out if you are serious about time and money saving:

Now the name is pretty self-explanatory. This site was created by an internet marketer for internet marketers, and it’s a one-stop shop for PLR material. E-books, reports, training videos, e-courses – you name it!

The nice thing about this site though is that membership is free. You can sign up as a VIP Member, which won’t cost you a cent, and you can download a huge amount of PLR material for free!

You can sell that material yourself as part of your own internet marketing business, and of course, you can change any part of the product to suit your target audience.

Don’t be put off by the free part either, in terms of the quality of the material that’s on offer, because I’ve downloaded some of the the free PLR stuff myself and it’s good quality.

In addition to the free PLR material you can download as VIP Member, you can also access heaps of great information about how to improve your internet marketing business.

You also have the option of paying a small one-time fee to become a Full Member of the site, and that will entitle you to even more PLR products to download and sell, plus you can become an affiliate of the PLR Wholesaler website itself, and receive a great commission whenever somebody you refer signs up as a Full Member.

So, please join now – this is a site that’s definitely worth your time regardless of your level of experience in internet marketing, so visit it now at:
PLR Wholesaler

You won't be disappointed.
